This is new Release album info Guitariste compositeur, il débute l’instrument à l’age de 13 ans, où il forme ces premiers groupes et vit ses premières expériences de la scène. Passionné de flamenco, il séjourne à Séville (Espagne) où il étudie avec Pedro Bacan et Mario Escudero. Puis en 1991, il s’installe à Paris et côtoie la scène Jazz. Prix spécial du jury au concours « 12ème en swing » Paris en 1992. Meilleur artiste au projet « Jazz Migration » organisé par le Festival de Junas en 2000. Sélectionné pour la compilation « Jazz autoproduit » par les magasins Fnac Forum Paris en 2005. Il se produit aujourd’hui dans diverses formations et pratique plusieurs style autour du jazz. Michel Prandi Signs with Ghost Note Records
Award winning guitarist and composer, Michel Prandi, has signed with Ghost Note Records to release his latest album. Blending many styles into one, and adding a healthy dose of Electro, L'ectrip vol.2 picks up where "vol. 1" left off. Reuniting with bass player, Dominique Di Piazza, Prandi continues to stretch boundaries, drawing on his many and varied influences. Jazz Magazine says "... A gifted guitarist, ever demonstrative of a gentle melody and an impetuous power at the same time ... He Exists in his own universe, rich in improvs, with intense and strong themes." And Hot Jazz called his music, "A high-flying adventure not to be missed." Look for the New CD to be released the first of September.
